Image Reports Magazine is one of the UK’s leading graphics arts publications. Well respected within the industry for it’s extensive and professional editorial content, a product award from this publication carries considerable weight in the UK sign and graphics industry. Last year the magazine ran a review of the leading industry products of the year, we were delighted when the Uniform Grenadier won a coveted Angel in Image Reports Magazine 2003 Awards. This year Uniform were again singled out for an Award, this time nominated and winning the Brand of the Year award. Naturally we are very proud of this achievement, particularly when you consider 2004 also saw big budget product releases by a number of the very biggest players in the large format print market. Here’s what Image Reports Magazine had to say... HEAVENLY BODIES - ANGEL AWARDS It’s that time when we toast the products that have turned our heads during the course of the year. It was a tricky exercise but we’ve finally got our list, so welcome to the Image Reports Angel Awards 2004. 2004 Brand of the Year - Uniform Go back a year or so and who had heard of Uniform? It’s a brand that has certainly leapt on to the market and one that is certainly taking the market by storm. It’s successful and thus welcomed and there are whispers of Uniform already taking a 65 per cent share of the UK large format solvent inkjet printer market! Uniform Cadet and Grenadier, solvent printers with integrated print and cut, the baby grand format Grenadier GFX, and the Brigadier a leaner, greener printing machine based on Citrosol ink chemistry – making for a very up to the minute, capable line up. And, says Uniform parent company B&P Lightbrigade Group Ltd, they have all made their mark and are selling well. To help ease the pain there are Uniform financial packages and beyond print there is the league of Uniform finishing machines and equipment. There’s TROOP! colour management complete with training courses and all backed up with a plethora of well researched Uniform organic and solvent inks, Uniform print media and Uniform finishing materials. B&P is immensely proud of its new Uniform brand. “Uniform has grown” says MD Dave Burton, “to the point where many of the most active and respected dealers now carry Uniform products in their portfolios. In introducing our own brand, we feel sure we have laid strong foundations for the future. From the customers perspective, we have invested considerably in building our in-house engineering and support team and boast a resource second to none in the UK market.” Thus the company reckons to exude unparalleled customer support with the ability to respond fast to customer needs. “The next stage of our business development in undoubtedly to build on these foundations to create an ever more comprehensive level of support for customers,” says Burton. |
